A Rainy Day for Ducks

Good afternoon Athens and North Georgia,

Happy National Oceans Day! Speaking of oceans, get ready for a wet and rainy week. Rain is looking to begin this afternoon around 4 o'clock and we will see internment showers from there on out.

Now moving onto the feather forecast for National Donald Duck Day. Tonight and into the quack of dawn, we will see temperatures dropping to around 71° in Athens and to 69° in Canton. Due to the oncoming rain and overcast skies in the early afternoon, highs will only reach to around 72° in Athens as well as Canton.

Despite the rainy weather starting this week out, we will see a spike in temperatures by the end of the week. But always be prepared for the occasional summer pop up storm, so be sure to keep an umbrella on standby.

Stay dry and Go Dawgs!
