Beautiful Day Ahead

Hello Athens! We had a beautiful day here in Athens, reaching a high of 67 degrees today with calm winds and clear skies; I actually got pretty hot walking to class. These nice conditions will persist tomorrow for Athens and across north Georgia.

Tonight, we will cool to a low of 39 degrees in Athens. However, be cautious in the morning driving to school and work, for we will most likely have dense fog in the morning like we have been seeing. That fog will clear quickly within a few hours, leading to a clear day.

We can expect a high of 68 degrees tomorrow, with calm winds and clear skies. It will be another beautiful day like today, so consider wearing shorts so you don’t get too hot walking to class.

Make sure to soak up the sun these next few days before another cold front blows through this weekend, bringing us some rain and cooler temperatures. But this rain is much needed, considering NE Georgia is under an extreme drought
