Calm Conditions Currently

Good Evening Dawgs! We had a rather rough start to the week, with the storm yesterday bringing in lots of rain, wind, lightning and mayhem for students and faculty alike at the University of Georgia and Georgia as a whole. With yesterday's storms moving out, we are expecting some drier conditions that may persist for the next few days to roll through and slowly heat us up. After a cold front moved through yesterday, we are expecting cooler conditions, with Athens expected to drop to 39 degrees with partly cloudy skies throughout the night. There is not expected to be any chance of rain, but it is going to be rather nippy, so make sure you grab your coats and stay warm! Now let's discuss tomorrow and what that will bring for North Georgia and Athens! With plentiful sunshine and winds expected to become more South Easterly, the temperature is expected to climb in Athens to a moderate 68 degrees with mid to upper 60s expected for North Georgia as a whole. This will be a great time for outdoor activities, before the pollen starts to rear its rather ugly head and impact your daily commutes and extracurricular activities.

When sunny skies and clear conditions apply, fun and joy will soon arise. So stay warm, stay groovy and have a wonderful Tuesday from the WeatherDawgs!
