Nice and Dry

Good afternoon Athens and North Georgia!


Happy Tuesday! I hope you all have been able to enjoy the nice weather that we are currently having.


Last night we saw a cold front push through North Georgia in the early hours of the morning, bringing rain and strong winds. By daybreak this morning, however, that system has moved out of our area. And now we get to reap the rewards of that cold front, with an absolutely beautiful day today.


Last nights cold front brought in cooler and dryer air and kept our relative humidities down to around 60%. Much nicer than the typical 80-90% we typically see during the summer.


Looking at our temperature outlook for tonight and tomorrow, Athens will be seeing lows around 64° and Canton will be a few degrees cooler at 61°. Tomorrow, we will be seeing highs for Athens around 86° and for Canton at 84°.


Make sure to take some time to enjoy this weather over the next couple days.
