Clear Chilly Weather!

Updated: Oct 23

Good evening, Athens, Georgia!

As we go through the week, the chilly weather continues! Today we had a clear, sunny day with temperatures not exceeding the low 70s. Winds and gusts began picking up around 11AM which made it feel even cooler! As we go into the evening hours, the temperatures will rapidly decline, reaching the mid-40s with a forecasted low of 44 degrees. For tonight, we expect clear conditions, light winds, and little to no chance of precipitation.

For tomorrow, we expect the same conditions as today. Clear sunny skies, little to no precipitation, but with one difference being light winds. For temperature, we can expect around the low 70s with a forecasted high of 74 degrees. For tomorrow night, we expect clear conditions with little to no precipitation. As for temperatures, they will be similar to tonight and reach the mid-40s.

As of now, for the next few days we can expect similar conditions. A high pressure will be hovering over Georgia, which will lead to clear conditions and low chances of precipitation. One thing to be aware of is that as we move on to next week, temperatures will start to steadily decline. Prepare to bring out thicker and warmer jackets!
