Good afternoon, Athens! Fall is in full swing here in the Classic City, with this afternoon's weather bringing a mix of cooler temperatures, overcast skies, drizzles of rain, and beautiful fall foliage to our area.

Tonight, Athens can expect conditions to remain cloudy, keeping our overnight temperatures slightly warmer at 60°F with a small breeze. If you're planning a late night out, make sure to grab a light jacket on your way out the door.

Tomorrow, Athens will experience a small warm-up from what we experienced today. Temperatures will peak in the afternoon at 73°F with partly cloudy skies. Chances of rain will increase throughout the afternoon and into the evening, but otherwise it's another classic fall day here in Athens. Clouds will move in overnight tomorrow, again, keeping our overnight temperatures at a warm 62°F.

As we continue through the week, a cold front will push its way into our region. This will keep the overcast, cool conditions we experienced today persistent through Thursday afternoon. Follow along with the WeatherDawgs throughout the week to stay updated on current and future conditions.

Have a great evening, Athens. As always, go DAWGS!
