Cooler Temps with a Side of Rain

As the beginning of the week is here, we are still drying out from all of that rain that came through yesterday and early this morning. As we move throughout the day and into the night, a cold front will be moving into the area, bringing with it some cooler temperatures. In the overnight hours in Athens, we are expected to see the temperature drop into the low 60's with clear conditions expected. For tomorrow, the same conditions will persist, albeit with a few afternoon clouds, and temperatures will be a on the cooler side, reaching into the high 70's.

For North Georgia, the story is a bit different. While clear conditions are expected tonight, the clouds will start rolling in tomorrow and is expected to be cloudy tomorrow. Cooler temperatures are also expected, with tonight's low in the low 60's and tomorrows high in the mid 70's.

Looking later towards this week, the threat of rain returns on Wednesday with a 60% chance for both North Georgia and Athens while scattered showers will linger towards the end of the week. Enjoy the cooler temps while they last!
