Feeling Dry?

Well, well, well... what do we see in the sky today? Nothing! Besides a few clouds here and there. Our clear and sunny conditions yesterday and today were brought on by a high pressure system due to a massive dry air mass that will dawdle over us for a couple more days. What does that entail? We can tell you right now that this high pressure system will maintain those cool evening temperatures and warm daytime temperatures we're experiencing today up until the weekend.

In Athens, we are expecting slightly warmer overnight temperatures compared to last night with a forecasted low of 40 degrees. We might see some sparse clouds roll in overnight that may linger around during the day. Our forecasted high tomorrow will follow a similar warming trend as we expect the high to reach up to 74 degrees.

Meanwhile, in the North Georgia region, we are expecting the low to dip down into the upper 30s with fewer clouds overnight. Then similar to today, the high will reach up into those spring-time temperatures with a forecasted high of 71 degrees.

Thank you for keeping up with the Weather Dawgs. Stay tuned for more daily weather updates, and as always... GO DAWGS!
