Hello Rain!

Sean Walker

Good afternoon Bulldogs, I hope you're having a wonderful Wednesday. We are expected to hit a high temp in the high 60s, maybe even 70 continuing our week of above average temperatures for the region, with low temps in the 50s. Later tonight a frontal system will bring light to moderate rain showers that will end early Thursday, so don't forget that umbrella if you plan to go out after 7 or 8pm.

Going into tomorrow, it will still be warm with highs in the low 70s and clouds being prevalent with intermittent sunshine. A rather pleasant day I'd say! Enjoy this warmer weather while it lasts because next week mother nature might have different plans, maybe that groundhog won't be wrong after all?

On another note, in continuation with Severe Weather Preparedness Week, today is Tornado Safety Day (you may have noticed that we have sirens in Athens). In the event of a tornado, it's wise to know these tips to stay prepared!
