Keep Those Sweaters On

As you stepped outside this morning (or last night if you went trick-or-treating for Halloween), you probably got a taste of that frightful drop in temperature due to a passing cold front yesterday. Now following behind this front is a strong high pressure system that is going to keep the sky conditions clear and dry with little to no clouds in sight.

For our viewers in Athens, we expect the low temperature to dip down into the lower 30s even to a chilling 30 degrees Fahrenheit. In Northern Georgia, we expect the low to dip into the upper 20s. Keep on the lookout for another freeze watch tomorrow night due to the low. Bring your pets and plants inside, turn on the heat, and keep the taps dripping. Tomorrow temperatures will gradually creep back up to the mid 50s and skies will remain clear and dry.

So unpack those jackets and rev up those heaters. We are in for a chilly remainder of the week.
