Lost in the High Pressure

Good day! This past weekend was rather dreary in terms of weather and Georgia football. The somber mood was further enforced by overcast conditions and some light drizzles throughout the weekend. But fear not! Sunny conditions are expected to return for the majority of this upcoming week due to a high pressure system sitting over Athens.

Heading into tonight we are expecting a low of 37, however, as we move into the week there is some variability with the lows being spread from the low 30s to the upper 40s. Tomorrow we will warm back up into the 60s with a high of 61. As we move throughout the week we expect highs to dip down into the mid to high 50s up until the weekend.

Looking to our neighbors to the northwest, Canton will be similar tonight with a low of 35 degrees. However, as we move into tomorrow Canton will stay cooler than Athens only reaching a high of 55.

As we get lost in the high pressure we are able to enjoy some sunny conditions as finals settle in. GOOD LUCK!!!
