Rain rain go away!

Good evening Bulldogs, I hope you've been able to stay warm as temperatures are expected to stay in the high 30s with rain gradually getting heavier into the night. We aren't going to be much different tomorrow compared to today's conditions, so make sure to carry your umbrella and have a jacket to protect yourself from the bitter cold. Flash flooding is possible further to our North, with our area expecting 1 to 2 inches of rain. Localized heavier amounts are possible when all is said and done.

Thankfully the weather changes midday Thursday after tomorrow's washout with rain, with a high pressure building in. Depending on how persistent the cold air damming is tomorrow, we may have thunderstorms later in the night into Thursday morning, that may be severe for areas further West of us. However, Athens is likely going to get just heavy rain.
