The Coldest Day of The Season

Good evening, University of Georgia! Today, Athens woke up to quite a chill. Temperatures have dropped significantly, and the wind has picked up all due to a cold front currently sweeping across the Southeast. It is really starting to get chilly in the Classic City, so break out your coats, hats, and gloves because the weather will only get colder in the near future. Tonight, Athens can expect to drop to 36 degrees, the skies will remain mostly clear, and the wind will stick around as we move in tomorrow. The morning will be cold, but the skies will stay clear all day, leaving us bright and sunny. However, tomorrow will be our most frigid day of the season, with a projected high of 54 degrees in Athens. Most of North Georgia will also experience a similar drop in daytime temperatures because of the front, with even some talks of snow in the northern mountains, although there will be none for Athens. Nonetheless, stay warm, everyone, because this weekend also looks cold, with nighttime temperatures in the 30s and days in the low 60s.

Thanks for reading and Go Dawgs!
