Warm temperatures carry us into the second half of the week

We had a beautiful warm Wednesday, reaching our high today of 81 degrees! As we move into the overnight hours tonight we will reach our low of 64 degrees with partly cloudy skies and a 10% chance of light showers. While temperatures won't be climbing quite as high as today for the later half of our week, we will remain warm with a high tomorrow of 78 and mostly cloudy skies. Throughout the day we will have a 20% chance of light showers ahead of a cold front to our east that will continue as we head into the overnight hours. Temperatures overnight will continue to be warm, and our low tomorrow will be 64 degrees here in Athens.

Up in North Georgia, the story doesn't change too much, tonight our low will be 63 degrees with a 20% chance of light precipitation. Similar to Athens, we will continue to see warm temperatures reaching our high tomorrow in Ball Ground of 77 degrees. The chance of rain tomorrow will again match Athens at 20%.
