Warming Up!

For our viewers in North Georgia and Athens, we have experienced warm and sunny conditions to begin the week. We will once again enjoy these pleasant conditions tomorrow, before rain moves in on Friday and remains through the weekend.

Our forecasted low for Athens tonight is in the upper 40s. Tomorrow, we will warm significantly above average for this time of year, reaching the high 70s. Conditions will be clear throughout the day; however, clouds will start to move in during the overnight hours ahead of the rain expected on Friday.

In North Georgia, tonight's forecasted low is also in the upper 40s. Sunny conditions tomorrow will allow for a high temperature in the mid to high 70s. This region can expect more clouds than the Athens area through the overnight hours.

Thunderstorms will arrive early on Friday morning in North Georgia, and will subsequently move into the Athens area through the day. Expect a 90% chance of rain. Rain chances decrease to around 30% for Saturday and Sunday.

Enjoy the clear weather while it lasts! As always, Go Dawgs!
