Warming Up Again

Good afternoon! For our viewers in Athens and North Georgia, we experienced an end to some light overnight rain with a gradual warm-up into the upper 50s and low 60s. Clouds have stuck around in Athens despite clearing out further to the north and west.

Heading into tonight, we are expecting Athens to cool to the mid-30s, with skies eventually clearing out. It might remain a bit breezy overnight before the winds finally calm out. With those calmer winds and more sunshine, temperatures are expected to reach into the low 60s.

For the remainder of North Georgia, lows are also expected to be in the mid-to-low 30s, with highs rising into the low-60s tomorrow with clear skies and generally calm conditions.

As we look into the upcoming days, a strong ridge will take hold. As such, it seems we are in for calm conditions with seasonable (if not a bit warmer than the norm) temperatures, clear skies, and calm conditions. Enjoy the persistently beautiful weather! Go Dawgs!!!
