Wet Wild Weather?

Good evening Athens and North Georgia! Today we have had some wonderful weather with highs in the mid to upper 60's and lows expecting to drop into the mid to upper 40s. But as we approach Friday, we are expecting some light to moderate precipitation to fall as a storm system moves in over Friday morning persisting into Saturday morning. We are expecting the low tonight to be around 45 degrees and tomorrows high is expected to reach 66 degrees. This storm is expected to reach Georgia by Friday afternoon, but there could be possible isolated storms that could impact your morning commutes, so I would say maybe bring an umbrella, especially for Friday evening when the main system rolls in.

While the storm is expected to drop our temperatures due to cloud cover and precipitation, the next few days following are expected to be sunny with warm temperatures. So go hiking or walking, the weather will be great for it once this storm system clears out! Stay safe, stay warm, and Go Dawgs!
