What's on the Menu? Rain and Cold

What's going on Dawg Nation!

We here at WeatherDawgs HQ hope that you had a fantastic Thanksgiving weekend. We've dropped back into a cooler pattern the past few days, as to be expected for the last week of November. However, our high temperatures are supposed to be around 60, and we didn't even reach 50 here in Athens! This is a trend that is going to continue as we go through the next few days, only reaching up to the lower 50's through midweek. Lows will be well below average too, getting down to 38 tonight and then closer to freezing through midweek.

We have some rain on the horizon as well. Parts of Georgia are already experiencing some rainfall this afternoon, and as the sun goes down this evening, we'll see the rainfall pick up in coverage. Rainfall is expected to begin here in the Classic City between 10pm and midnight and last throughout the night and morning before finally clearing out at around midday tomorrow. We could see anywhere between 1.5-2 inches of rain between now and then, so make sure those umbrellas and raincoats are ready for your Tuesday morning commute; rainy and cold is on the menu!

Go Dawgs!
