Happy Thursday Athens and North Georgia! We got a sneak peek of fall today after experiencing a strong wedge. Athens only saw a high of 68 with cloudy skies, and Canton a bit warmer than us at 73. Tonight, we should expect slightly chilly, cloudy night. Athens falls to around 57 and Canton reaches 58. The low temperatures are going to be a similar story for most of North Georgia. There is a 10% chance of precipitation for Canton but we are not expecting anything here in Athens overnight....

Happy Tuesday, Athens and North Georgia! Temperatures climbed into the upper 80s today with Athens hitting 88°F. The rest of North Georgia also coasting under 90°F after a hot Labor Day Weekend. Tonight will be partly cloudy and a little cooler, with lows around 66°F in Athens and 65°F in Canton. We’ll be a few degrees cooler than last night as cooler air continues to settle in behind the cold front. However, increasing cloud cover overnight should keep temperatures from dropping too much....

After climbing to a high of 84 °F today, a cold front has passed over us, bringing cooler weather to North Georgia.
