Warm and Dry Weather Continues!

Happy Tuesday, Athens and North Georgia! Temperatures climbed into the upper 80s today with Athens hitting 88°F. The rest of North Georgia also coasting under 90°F after a hot Labor Day Weekend.


Tonight will be partly cloudy and a little cooler, with lows around 66°F in Athens and 65°F in Canton. We’ll be a few degrees cooler than last night as cooler air continues to settle in behind the cold front. However, increasing cloud cover overnight should keep temperatures from dropping too much.


We'll warm up a bit more tomorrow, with highs around 91°F in Athens and 90°F in Canton. Temperatures will most likely continue to slightly climb as the week continues.


We are not expecting any rain chances tonight or tomorrow, so enjoy the dry weather while it is here!
