A Little Sunshine with the Clouds!

Good afternoon Athens and North Georgia! The past couple of days have been cooler and cloudy, but a small break is expected in our future. The low pressure that backed into Georgia from the Carolina's is finally moving away, allowing for some high pressure to sneak into our area. This change in pressure system will clear out some of those clouds so the sun can come say hello for a little while!

The sky cover is not all that will be affected, but our temperatures are expected to rise too! For starters, our expected lows for the night are 64ºF in Athens and the same low 60s up in North Georgia. Both areas expecting minimal to no winds, and a rain chance of 10% due to those lingering clouds. Looking too tomorrow the forecasted high for the Athens area is 85ºF, a few degrees higher than today from that sun expected to pop out in the afternoon. For our North Georgia readers it's a pretty similar story sitting in the lower 80s for tomorrow, just slightly cooler than Athens!

Overall, the next couple of days are expected to bring a bit sunnier conditions than the past few ones, so get outside and soak up that sun as much as you can when it's out. Thanks so much for reading and keep checking in for more updates - Go Dawgs!
