Cloudy Conditions and More Rain

For our viewers, North Georgia, and Athens, we experienced warm and partly cloudy conditions today as a result of a warm front and high pressure system over Georgia. Don't get too comfortable, these conditions will only last for the rest of the evening as a low pressure system makes its way over Georgia beginning tomorrow morning.

As we head into the evening, Athens will experience cloudy skies and a low temperature of 36. Tomorrow, Athens can expect cloudy conditions, a 30% chance of rain, and a high temperature of 50 in the afternoon. Make sure to grab an umbrella as you head out the door to prepare for scattered showers!

North Georgia can expect similar conditions throughout the evening, with cloudy skies and temperatures dropping to a low of 35 overnight. There is also a slight chance of rain showers overnight for North Georgia. Tomorrow, skies will continue to be overcast with showers in the afternoon and temperatures will rise to a warm 48 degrees.

Looking ahead into the week, a low pressure system hovering over Georgia will, unfortunately, bring heavy rain heading into Thursday and Friday. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the weekend. Have a great evening!
