Happy Tuesday! Everyone here at WeatherDawgs hopes our readers had a fantastic labor day weekend as we are back with your forecast. Things seem to be finally cooling down here in Georgia as we move from the mid 90s over the weekend into the mid 80s this week! Today, Athens hit a high of 84, and we expect overnight temperatures to fall to 62 and skies to remain clear. Tomorrow looks to be cooler, Athens will hit a pleasant high of 82 with breezy winds and passing clouds. Rain chances remain low across the state with chances increasing as we move into the later part of the week, but stay tuned for more information on that.

North Georgia will be in the low 60s as well with Canton hitting a low of 63. The weather stays pretty nice tomorrow with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s. It won't feel muggy either as comfortable dew points and breezy winds across the state bring a fresh feeling of fall in the air. Skies remain clear until tomorrow night when overcast conditions may begin to form and rain chances start to increase towards the early weekend. Thank you for reading and make sure to watch our video for more information. Have a great week and go Dawgs!
