Here Comes the Sun

For our viewers in North Georgia and Athens, we have been sitting comfortably over the past few days with highs in the upper 70s and low 80s and mostly sunny conditions. We expect these same conditions to continue as we sit under a high pressure system for the remainder of the week.

Tonight's forecasted low for Athens is in the upper 50s, providing a slight taste of cooler fall weather as people prepare for the early-morning commute. Temperatures will rise to the low 80s by tomorrow afternoon, with mostly sunny conditions until a few clouds begin to accumulate by the evening hours. These clouds are not expected to bring precipitation.

North Georgia has a similar story tomorrow, with beautiful sunny conditions, but slightly lower temperatures. Tonight's forecasted low is in the low 50s, and tomorrow's high is expected to reach the upper 70s.

Our current high pressure system will allow for similar conditions for the rest of the week: sunny, with few passing clouds, and mild temperatures for this time of year. These conditions should linger into the weekend, as we look ahead to another beautiful Saturday in Athens.
