High Pressure & High Temperatures

For our viewers in North Georgia and Athens, we have been experiencing consistent sunny conditions and warm temperatures throughout the week. These conditions are due to a high pressure system that has been sitting over our area. As we look toward the rest of our week, this high pressure system will remain in place, keeping these dry, sunny, and warm conditions around. Temperatures will gradually rise throughout the week as this high pressure system builds.

Tonight's forecasted low for Athens is in the mid 40s. With the high pressure system over our area, conditions will remain dry. Tomorrow's high will rise to the mid 70s, indicative of the warming trend we will see throughout the week.

North Georgia's conditions will be similar to Athens, with tonight's low in the mid 40s and tomorrow's high in the mid 70s as well. Dry conditions will remain.

Enjoy the beautiful weather for the rest of the week!
