Homecoming Weekend

fm54002

As we prepare for Homecoming festivities this weekend in Athens, it looks like temperatures will continue to be chilly in the mornings as we drop into the 30s as a result of a continued cold air advection and a consistent high pressure system over Georgia. In Northwest Georgia, the story is similar as temperatures plunge into the high 20s and 30s overnight with a warming daytime trend persisting through the weekend.

Enjoy the comfortable warmer temperatures the rest of this week as the high in Athens and Northwest Georgia will creep into the upper 60s and 70s over the weekend. Skies will remain clear and dry with variable winds.

Remember to pack a light jacket for your tailgates and the game on Saturday. Have a wonderful homecoming, stay warm, and as always, GO DAWGS!!!
