Good evening, Athens and Northern Georgia! We hope you had an amazing weekend and didn't let today's rain get you feeling too blue!

Unfortunately for our summer lovers, the colder temperatures we experienced today are expected to persist throughout the week, though letting up a little bit towards the end. Last night we hit a low of 48 degrees in Athens and 47 in Canton, and today we hit a high of 50 degrees in both Athens and Canton. Tomorrow we can expect a low of 49 degrees for Athens and 48 for Canton, with a high of 54 degrees for Athens and 56 for Canton.

Let's talk about a rainy day! Quite unfortunate for anyone who forgot their umbrella, since we received over an inch of rain in both Athens and Canton today! Tonight we can expect a 70% chance of rain for Athens, and a 60% chance for Canton. Tomorrow we only expect a 20% chance of rain for Athens and Canton, but it's always a safe bet to bring an umbrella!

For tomorrow, we expect another chilly, cloudy day, with some possible showers. Looking further into the week, we continue to wedge and see effects from low-pressure systems nearby, leaving us with colder temperatures and a lot of moisture and rain!

Have a great rest of your day and go Dawgs!
