Rainy Week Ahead

For our viewers in North Georgia and Athens, we have started our week with partly cloudy conditions and mild temperatures. However, as we head into Wednesday and the remainder of our week, we can expect cloud cover to increase and temperatures to drop. Additionally, light rain showers will linger over our area.

Tonight's forecasted low for Athens is in the upper 40s. Tomorrow's high will only rise to the mid 50s due to thick cloud cover. A 40% chance of rain is present, but rainfall will be light and will not accumulate much.

For North Georgia, tonight's forecasted low is also in the upper 40s. Tomorrow's high will be in the upper 50s, and, similarly to Athens, there is a 40% chance of rain.

This light rain will continue through Friday, before a cold front pushes through on Saturday and allows a high pressure system to settle over our area. This high pressure system will bring clear skies and warmer temperatures, creating beautiful weekend conditions. Stay dry and Go Dawgs!
