Refreshing Fall Weather

Good evening, Athens!

We’ve had another gorgeous fall day across the Classic City, with sunshine dominating and highs topping out near 75 degrees this afternoon. A light breeze out of the northwest kept things feeling comfortable, perfect fall weather vibes. And thanks to the wedge, these conditions will persist!

Tonight in Athens, expect clear skies with no chance of rain.

Temperatures will drop quickly after sunset, settling into the upper 50s by daybreak, with an overnight low of around 55 degrees. Winds will remain light and calm overnight, creating refreshing conditions. So open up those windows and let that crisp air in!

Looking ahead to tomorrow, Athens will keep the sunshine around, with just a few fair-weather clouds. Afternoon highs will climb into the mid-to-upper 70s, peaking near 77 degrees, while a gentle breeze returns in the afternoon, thanks to the wedge, giving us that classic fall feel.

And for Saturday’s big matchup against Kentucky here in Athens, Dawg fans can expect nearly perfect tailgating and football weather! Temperatures will start cool in the morning in the upper 50s, but by kickoff, we’ll be sitting in the low to mid-70s under mostly sunny skies. A light breeze will keep conditions comfortable throughout the game, with no rain in sight. It’s shaping up to be an ideal fall afternoon between the Hedges!

Go Dawgs!
