Staying Toasty!

Good Afternoon and thank you for reading today's WeatherDawgs' blog post! This week we have some warmer than usual days with some cooler weather ushering in on Friday and remaining for the weekend. This cooler weather will be associated with some much needed rain as we are in a severe drought. Preliminary amounts are hovering around a half inch in our area to a quarter inch up north, but we will keep you updated as we draw closer to the event.

For Athens tomorrow, our high will reach a peak of 82 degrees, with the low falling down to a cool 48 degrees. No rain is expected and skies will remain clear giving us a sunny, warm day in November. How many of those types of days are left before winter will start to turn them into dreary cold days? No one knows so enjoy this pleasant, balmy weather while it lasts!

For our readers in North Georgia, highs will be in the mid-upper 70s towards the higher terrain and transition to lower 80s as you go further south. Like Athens, north Georgia will be very sunny and dry tomorrow, before a cold front comes in on Friday and mixes up the pattern. Thanks for reading about the weather today and we hope you tune back in tomorrow. Have a great rest of your week!
