Good Afternoon Dawg Nation!

We've been locked into a pattern of persistent sunny skies and warm temperatures, and we don't expect this to change anytime soon! We have been steadily rising in temperatures over this week, rising up to the upper 70s across the area for this afternoon, and continuing to rise into the 80s tomorrow. The good side of this story is that we will have absolutely beautiful spring weather lasting through your Easter weekend, so any of you warm weather enjoyers will most definitely need to take advantage of this. The downside is that temperatures getting close to the upper 80s as we move through the end of the week. The main takeaway here is its going to be a hot one!

As for our chances of rain, they are basically nonexistent, as they have been for most of this week. A strong high-pressure system has been located over the Tennessee Valley for the past couple of days, keeping us noticeably dry, and we should expect for this to persist through the weekend, as we don't see any chances for rain until Monday evening! One caveat here with it having been so dry lately is that the risk for wildfire here in Georgia is relatively high. The National Weather Service has issued a special weather statement, noting relative humidities less than 25% for most of the area, creating a high fire danger. So keep that in mind going through your evening if you're planning on burning anything.

Have a great evening y'all, and go Dawgs!
