Warming Up... Again

Good evening, Georgia! We've had a gloomy, muggy weekend, with overcast skies, a couple scattered showers, and highs in the mid 70s. An end to these unpleasant conditions is in sight, but it will come at a cost.

Overnight tonight, North and Central Georgia can expect lows in the low 60s as we see partly cloudy skies. Tomorrow morning, we continue to see partly cloudy skies as North Georgia faces a slight chance for isolated showers from the remnants of Potential Tropical Cyclone Eight. However, we quickly clear, and finally start to see sunshine return tomororw afternoon. Highs will be in the low 80s.

As sunny skies creep back in, our temperatures creep back up as we head through the week. Highs in the mid to upper 80s make an unwelcome return, after a week of enjoying more mild, below-average tempeatures for this time of year. Despite our rising afternoon highs, clear skies will allow us to continue cooling to the low 60s overnight, meaning our morning commutes won't be too humid. Crisp morning conditions will bring make up for the taste of fall we'll be missing during our afternoons late this week.

If you're a fan of the warmer weather, take advantage of the clearing skies and spend some time outdoors this week!
