I hope you brought your umbrella to work this morning to prepare for this rainy Tuesday afternoon. North Georgia experienced some typical summer pop up storms which are expected to wrap up going into this evening.

Wednesday's early morning temperatures for Athens are expected to be around 69 degrees, with Canton sitting about a degree warmer. As we get into the afternoon, temperatures are expected to rise up to about 88 degrees in Athens and 87 in Canton. The cloud cover is not expected to clear significantly until a bit later in the week, so for the most part, expect it to be mostly overcast. The chances for precipitation in north Georgia are relatively low, around 10 to 20 percent in Athens and Canton respectively, though there is still a possibility for spotty showers in the afternoon.
