Welcome to Spring!

For our viewers in North Georgia and Athens, we began our week with sunny, but cold, conditions. But, as Spring officially begins, we are finally seeing a rise in temperatures.


Tonight's forecasted low for Athens is in the low 40s - much more comfortable than the low 30s we were experiencing earlier in the week. After reaching a high temperature in the low 70s today, more sunny conditions tomorrow will allow temperatures to climb even higher into the mid 70s.


For North Georgia, tonight's forecasted low is also in the low 40s. Similar to Athens, this region will experience clear conditions tomorrow, allowing temperatures to rise to the low 70s.


Despite tomorrow's sunny conditions, it wouldn't be spring without some classic showers. Rain will move in on Friday morning and last through the day on Saturday, accompanied by a drop in temperatures.
